Ropes Courses, Inc., adventure attraction specialists, have installed the first Sky Trail Course in Oman.

Trampo Extreme have opened an indoor, two-storey Sky Trail aerial attraction in Muscat, Oman. The structure contains 21 different elements including a 60-foot (18-meter) Sky Rail that gives participants an airborne ride across the width of the structure.

Constructed by Ropes Courses, Inc. (RCI), this is the first Sky Trail in Oman. It is also the second one for Trampo Extreme.

The first was built inside the Murouj Mall Sports Facility in Sabhan, Kuwait in 2015.

The Sky Trail is located directly above the Scoot ‘n Skate zone. It features swinging steps, a zig-zag rope bridge and a seven-foot stand-alone beam. There are also lily pad stepping stones, a rolling log and other obstacles that test balance and concentration.

Unique and colourful

The Sky Trail can accommodate up to 30 people at the same time. Children and adults are secured with a harness and single redundant slingline. They are kept safe thanks to RCI’s U.S. patented overhead tracking system.

Also at Trampo Extreme, visitors can take on the different Clip ‘n Climb walls. These contain unique and colourful obstacles on a route to the top.

There is Drop Slide located directly beneath the Sky Trail where guests can don a sliding suit and helmet and shoot down.

The Scoot ‘n Skate zone offers space for skateboard riders of all skills. There is also a Twister Tunnel, which offers an indoor caving zone with more than 590 feet of underground tunnels and caverns to explore.

RCI has built Sky Trail aerial attractions at destinations in 29 different countries with a growing presence in the Middle East including Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait, and Turkey. Their versatile collection of interactive attractions that include Sky Trail, Clip ‘n Climb walls, and Amaze‘n Mazes, are all designed to encourage full engagement by participants.

General Manager for Trampo Extreme, Craig Ogilvie, said: “The Sky Trail makes an immediate impact as customers walk into Trampo Extreme! Since we opened, it’s been one of our most popular attractions. Children and adults alike are really enjoying the varied challenges Sky Trail features. We went with a double level Sky Trail and a 10m high Sky Rail™, which has proven to be even more appealing than the single level one we installed at our Kuwait location in 2015. Ropes Courses, Inc. attractions were a natural addition to our trampolines and Clip ‘n Climb® activities.”
