ā€œHaving worked with some of the worldā€™s leading theme parks and resorts for the past 25 years providing integrated guest experiences, weā€™re proud to now work with an innovative new partner in Dubai Parks and Resorts,” commented Mel Taylor, CEO of Omnico Group.

Dubai Parks and Resorts, which opened late last year, encompasses three world-class theme parks: LEGOLANDĀ® Dubai, Bollywood Parks™ Dubai and MOTIONGATE™ Dubai. The resort will be interconnected via the retail, dining and entertainment district known as Riverland™ Dubai.

Omnico was considered the only software company capable of delivering the level of integration required on such a large scale. The project’s scope included the provision of 359 POS lanes across the retail, restaurant and entertainment sites, as well as pre-booking and table management systems for the dining experiences.

By ensuring all transactions and reservations across the separate parks are connected and collated centrally, venues and visitors alike can look forward to a seamless experience.

Omnico installed its full suite of omni-channel software products at Dubai Parks and Resorts.Ā These include:

  • omniEngage – which enables visitors to make package meal, retail or ticket purchases
  • RFID wrist-bands – to create a completely cashless experience
  • omniBasket – for both fixed and mobile retail and table ordering points

Also in the pipeline is a consumer app that allows guests to pre-book their dining tables.

“With todayā€™s visitors demanding an increasingly seamless digital experience; from purchasing their tickets, to pre-booking a restaurant table, we are delivering pioneering technology to complement the vision of Dubai Parks and Resorts,ā€ added Taylor.
