OpenAire, a leading designer and manufacturer of retractable roofs and skylights, is hosting a webinar on the benefits of aluminium retractable roofs.

OpenAire is pleased to announce that it will be holding a free webinar on 1 September 2020 at 11 am EST entitled The Smartest Investment in Aquatics: Aluminium Retractable Roofs! The session will be hosted by OpenAire’s Nancy Patterson, alongside special guest Daryl Matzke from Ramaker.

The company’s aluminium retractable roofs will help operators to switch their indoor space to an outdoor space, simply at the touch of a button. Being made of aluminium, these roofs won’t corrode and are a money-saving way of ventilating venues.

Professional insights

For this webinar, attendees will benefit from the expertise of Matzke, a professional engineer who specialises in all kinds of aquatic venues, from public pools and waterparks to private health clubs and resorts.

Due to COVID-19, many operators are looking for a solution to generate more airflow, in order to keep their venues safe and well ventilated. OpenAire’s retractable roofs allow for plenty of airflow and daylight, helping owners to reduce their carbon footprint as well as saving money when it comes to energy costs.

The company manufactures, designs and installs custom retractable roofs and skylights for venues all over the world, for instance, theme parks, FECs, waterparks, museums, aquariums, resorts, pools and more. Since 1989, OpenAire has completed almost 1,000 projects around the world, including a retractable roof at the Epic Waters indoor waterpark in Grand Prarie, Texas (pictured, top).

Recently, OpenAire also announced that it has partnered with kinetic engineering firm SCX Special Projects, in order to turn outdoor spaces into multi-use venues following the COVID-19 pandemic.  Together, the two companies are working to create covered areas that transform indoor spaces into outdoor venues, to keep visitors safe.
