Panasonic Business,Ā a leading audiovisual technology provider,Ā is supporting an exhibition at Japan House London called WOW: City Lights and Woodland Shade.

Panasonic Business is pleased to be supporting a mesmerising new digital display at Japan House London. The free exhibition opened on 21 November 2019 and explores the juxtaposition of modern and traditional Japan through the medium of digital art.

WOW: City Lights and Woodland Shade is organised by Japan House London and is the creation of WOW visual art studio. This is the first time this exhibition, which brings together Japanese innovation and tradition, has been shown in the UK.

Urban meets rural

The ā€˜Tokyo Light Odysseyā€™ installation is a 360-degree immersive motion graphics exhibition. Here, visitors are taken on a journey through the cityscape of Tokyo at night-time. In addition to this, the exhibition also features an installation entitled ā€˜Poppoā€™, which showcases WOWā€™s roots in Tōhoku, north-eastern Japan. This uses technology to explore new ways of making the regionā€™s traditional handmade wooden crafts.

WOW is based in Tokyo and Sendai in Japan and creates new experiences through art, product design, branding and prototyping. The studio aims to rethink how we look at and interpret the modern world. WOW has worked with world-renowned brands such as Sony, Suntory, Aston Martin, Dior, Chandon, PokƩmon, Issey Miyake and Shiseido.
