Aardman is partnering Village Roadshow Theme Parks to bring a new Shaun the Sheep family themed attraction to Paradise Country on Australia’s Gold Coast.
Paradise Country provides a hands-on Australian farm experience where visitors can get close to farm animals and native wildlife including koalas, kangaroos and emus. The park offers a variety of shows and experiences including sheep shearing and boomerang throwing.
Opening in December 2018, the new Shaun the Sheep attraction has been designed to appeal to fans of all ages. Visitors can look forward to specially created sculptures and interactive attractions such as Shaun’s Tractor Ride, Shaun’s Adventure Camp, The Pig’s Playground and Shaun’s Scraps & Taps.
Highlights are set to include a twice-daily live show, ‘Shaun’s Aussie Adventures’, and the chance to meet Shaun the Sheep and have a photo taken with him. Visitors looking for a baa-gain will no doubt flock to themed retail outlet, Mossy Bottom Memories.
“As Australia’s number one farm-based attraction, Paradise Country is the perfect home for Shaun the Sheep’s next attraction adventure,” stated Ngaio Harding-Hill, Senior Manager Attractions & Live Experiences at Aardman. “The new experience captures all the fun and frolics of the show in a real-life adventure fans will adore.”
