Walt Disney World has announced the return of the Park Hopper option, as part of the phased reopening of the resort, beginning in January 2021.

Park Hopper returns to Walt Disney World from January 1, 2021. Guests who purchased a ticket or annual pass with Park Hopper benefits will be able to visit more than one park per day.

Visitors who use the updated Park Hopper option must make a Disney Park Pass reservation for the first park that they want to visit. They must also enter the first park before heading to another.

Visitors will soon be able to check DisneyWorld.com/ParkHours and the My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date Park Hopper hours.

Disney has made these modifications in order to manage attendance and implement social distancing. Other health and safety measures remain in place.

Guests with a ticket or pass that includes the Park Hopper option are able to visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT in just one day.

Disney has reopened parks in TokyoShanghai, and Hong Kong. However, Disneyland is still closed in California and Disneyland Paris is temporarily shut in France.

The Walt Disney Company recently reported earnings for its fourth quarter and fiscal year ended October 3, revealing a decline in revenue for Parks, Experiences and Products.

Still, Disney provided an update on the historic transformation currently underway at EPCOT while speaking at the D23 Fantastic Worlds Celebration.

Disney also shared updates about the next generation of experiences in development, including Avengers Campus and EPCOT, at IAAPA Expo: Virtual Education Conference.
