Picsolve partners National Geographic Encounter: Ocean Odyssey and MARVEL Experience Busan

Leading digital content creation and distribution partner, Picsolve, has announced new partnerships with National Geographic Encounter: Ocean Odyssey in New York City and The MARVEL Experience Busan in South Korea.

marvel experience busan posterThe news marks a record period of growth for the company, boosted by the acquisition of US market leader, Freeze Frame, in September.

It also signals Picsolve’s commitment to diversifying into sectors beyond theme parks. The company is currently ploughing resources into further developing its digital capabilities in key areas such as AR, video and panoramic photo technology.

“We are currently in a momentous period for growth at Picsolve and these announcements, ranging from North America to the Asia-Pacific region, are testament to the belief global partners have in us to provide the best experiences for their customers,” reports David Hockley, CEO at Picsolve.

National Geographic Encounter: Ocean Odyssey is a first-of-its-kind underwater experience in New York’s Times Square. Picsolve has installed its state-of-the-art Experience Wall at the attraction, using Samsung’s super high-resolution LED screens. Visitors experience an immersive underwater journey and can then purchase physical and digital merchandise, including ‘breath-taking panoramic photographs’.

Fans can be captured with eight MARVEL heroes

Through a new partnership with The MARVEL Experience Busan in Korea, Picsolve is providing its green screen technology at Asia’s first MARVEL VR and AR experience hall. Fans of the comic book superheroes will get the chance to be captured with eight greats including Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Captain America. This latest partnership marks Picsolve’s 15th in the Asia-Pacific region.

“We are forever extending our global footprint, demonstrating that our innovative technology can be harnessed by a whole host of sectors beyond theme parks – our technology can be implemented anywhere people go to have a good time,” adds Hockley. “We’re excited to continue on this journey, reaching into new countries and developing our digital capabilities to appeal to consumers of any age, all over the world.”
