Picsolve, a leading digital content capture partner for visitor destinations, now has more than double the number of US locations using its technology than a year ago.

Since the acquisition of Freeze Frame in September, the number of North American sites with a Picsolve system has grown by over 100 per cent. The company’s US client base includes a wide range of theme parks, casinos, museums, observatories, zoos and other attractions. Among them are the 360 Chicago Observation Deck, National Geographic Encounter: Ocean Odyssey in New York’s Times Square and Caesars Entertainment.

New partnerships with Merlin and San Diego Zoo

A recent partnership with the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park will see Picsolve’s new Super Selfie content capture, green screen technology and roaming photography go into use at two of the most recognised family destinations in the US.

Super Selfie creates unique and shareable social content that will capture visitors’ zoo experiences. The innovative technology takes a stunning backdrop of any destination and combines it with a selfie of the visitors to create a short video with an amazing zoom-out effect.

In New Jersey, Picsolve has also been chosen as the sole content capture partner for three new Merlin attractions at the American Dream Meadowlands mall. These are Legoland Discovery Center, Sea Life Aquarium and Peppa Pig World of Play. The 3 million square feet American Dream complex is being developed by Triple Five and will open in 2019.

Further expanding its long-standing partnership with Merlin Entertainments, Picsolve will also be providing content capture technology at the newly opened Legoland Discovery Center Columbus, Ohio. Here its green screen technology, roaming photography, and automated and set content capture is being implemented as an add-on to the visitor experience.

“Since the acquisition of Freeze Frame, we’ve succeeded in our mission to achieve substantial growth in the US,” says Picsolve CEO, David Hockley. “The team’s hard work in building trusted partnerships with world-class visitor destinations is unrivalled. As we continue to expand globally and invest in the development of new technology, I anticipate many more partners.”
