Leading digital content creation and distribution partner for world-class visitor destinations, Picsolve, has signed a five year deal with Studio City, Macau.

The luxury art deco style, cinema-themed resort designed by the Goddard Group will now be able to offer guests a range of creative digital experiences.

Picsolve’s immersive green screens will take visitors riding Batman Dark Flight – the first Batman-themed 4D flight simulation ride – right to Gotham City.  Guests will also be able to have their photo taken riding through Gotham City on Batman’s Batwing.

The same innovative technology will also allow guests to capture content against the backdrop of the hotel’s iconic figure-eight Ferris wheel, the Golden Reel, or a panoramic view of the city from 130 metres in the air.

Picsolve’s technology allows visitors to instantly share their experiences across personal and social networks.  Advanced digital platform offers visitors an easy and convenient way to quickly view, order and share all content captured during their stay.  In addition guests will be able to purchase all-inclusive digital photo packages with premium photobooks and personalised merchandise from any of their devices.

The luxury hotel and casino resort is Picsolve’s first client in the vibrant gaming city and highlights the image capture specialists’ diversification into the luxury resort sector and expansion into the Asia-Pacific region.

The creativity, enthusiasm and understanding of our key target demographic that Picsolve has shown throughout this process made them an ideal digital content creation partner.

Picsolve recently announced a partnership with Busan Air Cruise in South Korea.  Picsolve will also partner with existing client Merlin Entertainment as their portfolio expands in the region with Madame Tussauds Singapore and LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Shanghai.

Picsolve’s team in the region will move to a new office in Hong Kong on the 1st October, allowing them to focus on serving customers from a local hub.

Commenting on the announcement, David Hockley, Interim CEO at Picsolve said, “We’re delighted to add Studio City Macau to our existing roster of world-class destinations. Our mutually beneficial partnership with this iconic resort marks an important milestone for Picsolve as we expand into new markets and empower customers of global destinations to instantly share their experiences. As more luxury resort developers and entertainment brands invest in the Asia-Pacific region, we hope that they consider the additional revenue opportunities and world-class content experiences we have to offer.”

David Sisk, Property President of Studio City added, “The creativity, enthusiasm and understanding of our key target demographic that Picsolve has shown throughout this process made them an ideal digital content creation partner. I look forward to seeing the creative image concepts come to life at all of our key tourist attractions and welcome our customers to see what our new experiences have to offer.”

The news comes just a week after the company announced the acquisition of digital imaging company Freeze Frame.
