The new Time Rider water slide by Polin

Polin Waterparks, a leader and innovator in waterpark technology, has released details of its innovative new water slide, Time Rider.

Polin Waterparks is proud to announce the launch of the Time Rider waterslide, which features the world’s largest bowl, with four possible paths for riders. This means that guests can have several different experiences and encourages repeat rides.

In addition to this, Time Rider includes the ‘wormhole’ – a functional observation walkway with special lighting effects, where riders can observe the slide in action while waiting their turn. They are kept cool by a spray system, which also helps to create atmosphere ahead of the experience. The walkway is fully accessible for wheelchairs too.

A new visual experience

Time Rider is fully themed and is compatible with Glassy technology, the company’s innovative transparent water slide system. Guests can also enjoy unique VR applications as part of the ride, which marks a new chapter in water slide design, thanks to its streamlined and highly themed construction.

This new ride from Polin Waterparks was initially unveiled at IAAPA Expo 2019 in Orlando, where it won an IAAPA Brass Ring Award in the Best New Product Concept: Major Ride/ Attraction category.

Time Rider features zero gravity and maximum acceleration, as well as its alternative paths. It has a high capacity, with up to 6 riders per raft. Guests will experience speeds of up to 9 metres per second and a side drop of 40 degrees during the 175-metre long slide.

Last year, Polin Waterparks announced that its King Cobra waterslide had won a first-place European Star Award. This is the sixth time the waterslide has taken the top prize, and the eighth year in a row it has been recognised by the awards. King Cobra has been recognised by several awards since it opened and is considered to be a game-changing ride.
