Polin’s World-Class Waterslides Keep Crystal Aura Guests On Site

News

Polin Waterparks has installed five new attractions at Turkey’s five-star Crystal Aura Beach Resort & Spa to encourage guests to spend more time on site.

Guests were being tempted away by nearby Kemer Marina and Nomad Theme Park, so the resort’s owners, the Kilit Group, worked with Polin to identify the ideal attractions that would entice them to stay put. The luxury 416-room resort now features an Aquatube, a Black Hole, a Big Hole, a Black Hole/Flying Boats Combination and Polin’s ever popular Sphere.

The Sphere is a two-person slide that starts with a steep drop followed by a dizzying ride around the interior of one sphere before whisking users through a tunnel slide to the next sphere. The ride features Polin's patented Natural Light Effects (NLE) technology which uses natural sunlight to create colourful patterns that interact with the flow of water through the tubes. The patterns continually change and adapt depending on the angle and strength of the sunlight.

The Black Hole/Flying Boats Combination joins a downhill ride and an uphill ride where guests are pushed aloft on water jets, much like a rollercoaster.

Erdogan Turan, General Manager at Crystal Aura Beach Resort & Spa, reports that the new waterslides provide a complete experience for guests. "Nearby attractions might tempt them to leave our property, but once they begin riding the slides, they can't get enough, " he says. "They can spend all day at the resort and never tire of the offerings we provide to them."
