Powersoft celebrates 25 years at ISE 2020

Powersoft, the Italian amplifier specialist, will be celebrating 25 years in the business at ISE 2020.

Powersoft is pleased to be heading to Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2020 at Amsterdam’s RAI, which takes place from 11 – 14 February. As well as showcasing its range of products and solutions at the show, the company will also be marking its quarter-century.

Powersoft has been credited with several innovations and industry firsts over the past 25 years. This began in 1996 when, just one year into trading, it mastered the design of the first commercially viable Class-D amplifier. It has also cemented its place as an industry leader when it comes to green power and efficiency.

Since the early days, the company has delivered many new products that went on to become industry standards, for example, the X Series workhorse and the Ottocanali Series. It is also the innovator behind M-Force, Deva and Mover.

Powersoft at ISE

Powersoft MoverMover is a small and powerful linear transducer that was successfully launched last year at ISE 2019. It can be used in audio applications and as a linear motor/shaker.

Mover can be used in a range of locations such as 4D cinemas, theme parks, or venues with vibrating acoustic floors. It allows guests to feel the sound through haptic perception by vibrating the surrounding environment. The body picks up on this and, through bone conduction, translates the vibrations into perceivable frequencies.

In addition to a demonstration of Mover, linked to an immersive VR video, Powersoft will be showcasing a huge range of products at ISE 2020, over two stands.

Firstly, on stand #7-Y195, the company will highlight fixed install products such as Mover, Mezzo, the Duecanali, Quattrocanali and Ottocanali lines of FI amplifiers.

Visitors will also be able to see ArmoníaPlus’ latest audio system management software update in action, including the new HealthPlus tab. This allows engineers to easily monitor all elements in the sound system.

The Hospitality Area

In addition to this, the second stand, #7-X205, will feature two experiential areas: Hospitality and the Meeting Room.

Visitors to the Hospitality Area can enjoy beer on tap in the sports bar, with speakers powered by Mezzo, the company’s 2/4 channel highly compact, Class-D technology amplifier platform. They can pick audio from one of the three screens, with individual volume controls.

Next door at the Meeting Room is another Mezzo-powered screen. Here, attendees can choose to listen to audio from the conference room or the Hospitality Area, and will also be able to use a GPI wall controller for the volume.

Powersoft will also attend the Inavation awards as it is a finalist in the R&D Award category. Furthermore, Claudio Lastrucci is shortlisted for the Industry Influencer of the Year award.

2019 was a busy year for the Italian company. As well as launching Mover at ISE 2020, it also unveiled a new amplifier platform, Mezzo, at InfoComm 2019. This is designed specifically for the AV/IT market and features eight amplifier models, each offering different power and connectivity options.
