project: syntropy, creator of technology and display solutions for dome cinemas and immersive attractions, has announced the opening of a new office in Singapore. Giulia Barbero will be in charge of Business Development for the Entertainment department.

project: syntropy is proud to be opening a new office in Singapore. The new location adds to the company’s existing locations. project:syntropy was founded in 2002, and aims to bridge the gap between creation and technology. It is based in Germany, with another office in Sweden. Giulia Barbero will be in charge of Business Development for the Entertainment department.

Global projects

This expansion will allow the company to continue working on projects around the globe. Its current portfolio includes projects from Europe to Scandinavia and the Middle East to Asia. project: syntropy provides turnkey solutions for a wide range of venues, including theme parks, science centres, museums, exhibitions, trade shows and brand experiences. It also works with users of profession simulation training environments. The company has over 15 years of experience in the industry.

project: syntropy will be present at IAAPA Expo Asia 2019. Lars Olle Richter, Juliane Neumann, Malin Hallbeck and CTO Christoph Bode will be at booth #3202 when the trade show takes place in Shanghai from the 12th-14th June. Over 8,500 attendees from more than 60 countries are expected at the event. IAAPA Expo Asia also features a huge range of educational sessions, where professionals from the attractions sector have the opportunity to learn from industry experts.

The company is also producing a new media-based attraction that simulates flight. Balloon Fly 360 is a collaboration between project: syntropy, Intamin and Mazzoli. The project was unveiled at the IAAPA Attractions Expo in November last year. Balloon Fly 360 features 360-degrees of immersion due to a 20 x 16-metre curved screen. It also includes a dynamic motion system. Guests will enjoy a full range of special effects such as fire, water and wind.
