SEA Aquarium 10 millionth visitor

Only five years after opening, S.E.A. Aquarium at Resorts World Sentosa has welcomed its 10 millionth visitor.

The lucky 10 millionth visitor was Samuel Ang with his wife Claire Ang and daughter Beatrice Ang. The winners received Annual Passes, a hamper and a personal meet-and-greet-session with the Aquarium’s mascot Mai the manta ray.

In celebration the aquarium is offering a promotion from now until 9th April where all one-day children’s tickets can be upgraded for free to a children’s annual pass worth S$68 (terms apply).

Annual pass holders can benefit from the new S.E.A.A. Explorer programme, which includes an explorer kit with hands-on tools and interactive materials to encourage curiosity about ocean conservation in young minds. Explorers can take part in six different educational missions all year around.

The aquarium is one of the largest in the world and home to more than 100,000 marine animals from across 800 species.

“With our diverse collection of aquatic species and large number of visitors entering the aquarium, S.E.A. Aquarium is in a unique position to connect the public closer to marine life through its immersive learning environment” said Mr Jason Horkin, Senior Vice President of Attractions at Resorts World Sentosa.

“We will continue to enhance the aquarium’s educational content, refresh our events and experiences, and diversify our animal collection to increase visitors’ knowledge on aquatic ecosystems, and inspire positive change towards protecting marine species.”
