Rainbow Productions, a leading mascot manufacturer and character events company, will be showcasing new services as it returns to IAAPA Expo Europe for the 16th consecutive year.

Rainbow Productions is looking forward to introducing new products and services at IAAPA Expo Europe when it takes place in Paris later this month. The event is being held at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from the 16th – 19th September, with a huge trade show opening on the 17th. The company will be highlighting a new manufacturing service available to the European attractions industry.

To meet the rising demand for puppets instead of costume characters, Rainbow Productions has created innovative designs both with and without technological requirements. It will be bringing its new Pierrot Bear body puppet to the show, which can give clients an extra option alongside costume character mascots, or an interactive alternative.

Custom-made mascots

Rainbow Productions is a market leader when it comes to custom-made mascots. It has created a wide range of mascots and costume characters for several leading licensing studios, sports tournaments, brands, attractions and films all around the globe. Most recently, it was responsible for Skillzy, the official mascot for next year’s UEFO EURO 2020 football event. The company also worked on characters from the much-loved French animated TV series, Zig and Sharko.

Rainbow Productions will be represented by James Barlow, Export Manager and Georgina Huckle, Creative Marketing Manager, at booth #2939. “Since EAS 2018 in Amsterdam, it’s been Rainbow’s most successful export year ever,” says Huckle. “The French costume character market is one of the company’s most developing and therefore the timing of IAAPA Europe being in Paris is perfect for Rainbow.”

Recently, the company brought the children’s TV character Duggee to Drusilla’s Park for his first official meet and greet appearance in the UK. The character, from the award-winning Hey Duggee TV series for pre-schoolers, is loved by fans around the world.
