Redemption Plus, a supplier of redemption crane and merchandise prizes, has launched a direct-to-consumer option, the Boredom Buster Box, in response to the global pandemic.
Redemption Plus is pleased to announce the launch of the Boredom Buster Box, a new direct-to-consumer option. The outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) has resulted in the closure of many of the company’s customer locations across the US, in order to protect the public. The Boredom Buster Box aims to entertain those who are staying at home and social distancing during the pandemic.
This new product allows families and individuals to enjoy Redemption Plus’ warehouse of toys which is not currently being used. The company is also sending out orders for businesses wanting to send some entertainment to their remote workers.
Adapting to the new normal
“We had to adapt quickly and I’m very proud of my team for coming together during such a difficult time,” says Chief Operations Officer, Mike Tipton. “The Kansas City business community has been extremely willing to partner with us in ways that weren’t necessarily clear before but are now necessary. I think that says a lot about the resilience of this city.”
The Boredom Buster Box is available in seven themes, with various price points. These include outdoor games, indoor recess, fidget toys, NERF Blasters and more. The boxes feature toys, collectables and fun things to play with. In addition to this, the company’s website is home to downloadable resources such as quarantine bingo and reward charts. Helping those in need
Redemption Plus has also partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City (RMHC-KC), an organisation with which it has a long-standing relationship. It will provide a 10% donation for every Boredom Buster Box purchase.
“Our hope is that these boxes give people who are stuck at home access to items that will brighten their day without having to step foot in a retail store,” Tipton says. “It’s also important to remember that many businesses and organizations around our community are struggling right now and we want to do our part to help in any way we can.”
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City provides families of seriously ill children with care, respite, comfort and hope. Donations from the Boredom Buster Box scheme will help it to meet these families’ needs.
