Rhetroactive and LWK Partners announce Strategic Partnership in Asia

RHETROACTIVE (“RTA”), an experience design firm whose principals have a combined 25 years’ experience in the leisure industry is joining forces with Hong Kongā€based comprehensive architectural service provider LWK & PARTNERS (“LWK”) to offer full creative design and architectural services for retail, hospitality, leisure and locationā€ based entertainment experiences. 

The new strategic partnership will offer 360ā€degree services from concept, brand strategy and operations development to full documentation, design and construction administration.

Of the partnership, RTA Principal Steve Trowbridge says, “LWK has an impressive history of working in China since the 90’s, with 6 offices throughout Asia and over 500 employees. They’ve become one of the Top 10 Architectural steve trowbridge and tim rehault from rhetroactivepractices in the region, setting a benchmark for architectural design with projects including The One, Chengdu IFS, Wuhan Times Square, and Shenzhen Metro Line4. This will allow us to provide full architectural services to our existing and future clients in Asia.”

LWK Director Ivan Fu adds, "The partners of RTA have been involved with some of the most successful projects in the world for nearly two decades. Their deep ties to entertainment resources in Hollywood will allow us to deliver worldā€class show design for theme parks and attractions as well as entertainment components within retail centers. RTA Principal Tim Rheault adds "Beyond our design resources here in America and throughout Asia, LWK acquired PRC Grade A Design Institute Qualification which allow us to carry out our operation from conceptual design to the project implementation. This will partnership make us one of the only design firms within the leisure industry to offer westernā€based entertainment design services, along with fullā€fledged architectural design and construction administration resources in China."

Trowbridge concludes, “We will also capitalize on the everā€blurring line between Asian and American multiā€national companies as they expand their brands and attractions throughout these two regions, providing a seamless conduit as they grow into new markets.”

The partnership will initially share resources and service its clients from its’ combined offices in Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Shanghai, with future plans to offer services to LWK’s offices in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Shenyang.
