Leading creator of thrill attractions, Ride Entertainment, has teamed up with TAIT Towers to design and manufacture the world’s first automated standing and turning zipline.
AirSurfer will be unveiled at the 2016 IAAPA Asian Attractions Expo, June 14th-16th.
According to Ed Hiller, Chief Executive Officer for Ride Entertainment, the new attraction, which promises cornering speeds of up to 55km/h, would have been unthinkable ten years ago:
“Now, through advances in technology and the patented solutions created by TAIT’s engineering team, we feel we are providing an experience unlike any other in the attractions industry. Traditional ziplines and zip coasters cannot offer thrills or solutions like AirSurfer can.”
It has taken two years to perfect the ride which the developers claim can adapt to fit any site or terrain – even those where traditional ziplines might struggle. Safety is maintained via a wireless control system that adjusts speed and distance between vehicles.
Ride Entertainment and TAIT will be revealing the AirSurfer for the first time at the 2016 IAAPA Asian Attractions Expo at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Shanghai, from June 14th, 2016 through June 16th, 2016.
Delegates are invited to visit Booth 1264.
