At the end of a record-breaking year in terms of winning industry awards, DJ Willrich Ltd has scooped two prestigious contracts to provide and install AV systems at visitor attractions in Dorset.

Audio visual and multimedia specialists DJ Willrich will play a part in revamping Durlston Country Park’s visitor centre in the New Year. New AV displays will include a ‘Multimedia Daily Diary’, which the rangers will update on a daily basis to provide visitors with up-to-date information on that day’s events and news.  DJW will also install a large multiscreen show, featuring a year in the life of Durlston, which will display images of the country park throughout the seasons.  In addition, DJW will provide the centre with a lecture facility with large screen projection and audio system.

The Beaulieu-based company, which picked up a number of top industry awards in 2010, will also start work on its contract with Bovington Tank Museum in early 2011. There, DJW will install interactive data points, allowing visitors to get hands-on with the Battlegroup Afghanistan exhibition. Staff at the museum will be able to update media, keeping the interactive feature up-to-date.

Director, Josh Miller, said: “Being based nearby in Beaulieu, it is a great honour to be involved in two important Dorset visitor attractions. We have worked with both venues in the past and it is nice to return and install newer systems as technology evolves.”
