After more than 27 years working with the show control specialist, Robert Chong has been appointed a product specialist at Medialon. He will serve customers in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region.
As an engineer, consultant and integrator, Chong (pictured) previously held sales and technical leadership roles at a variety of audiovisual companies across Europe and Australasia. This includes such names as Barco, Gibson International, Atea and ZKM.
“At Medialon, we are committed to the ongoing support of customers and installations – both existing and new,” says Eric Cantrell, the company’s vice-president of business operations. “Robert has worked closely with our team, customers and product line for many years. His new role will allow us to carefully consider the needs of all projects – developing and delivering the very best show control solutions for entertainment and attractions markets that consistently exceed expectations.”
Medialon’s show control solutions, enabling the control, supervision and monitoring of lighting, audio, video and special effects, are used by museums, attractions and theme parks worldwide. In July, the company was acquired by 7thSense Design. It now operates from Orlando, Florida, with satellite offices across the USA, UK and Canada.
