Dance show by RWS for Hersheypark scoops IAAPA Brass Ring Award

Leading live entertainment production company, RWS Entertainment Group, has won an IAAPA Brass Ring Award for Best Theatrical Production: Annual Attendance 1-3 Million for Dance Dance Dance: Heartbeat!

The show is one of a number the company has produced for Pennsylvania’s family theme park, Hersheypark.

For this latest award-winning production, RWS assembled a team of 30 top-flight creatives from the Broadway and concert industries to wow guests with a dazzling and memorable experience.

Dance Dance Dance: Heartbeat! is a high-energy musical revue featuring 10 dancers and four singers performing popular classics as well as songs from some of today’s top artists including Bruno Mars, Cher, Lady Gaga and more.

“RWS strives to create memorable productions and live events that draw in crowds, capture attention, and leave a lasting impression,” notes Ryan Stana, CEO of RWS Entertainment Group. “Hersheypark’s IAAPA Brass Ring Award is a true testament to the incredibly smart, dedicated teams at both RWS and Hersheypark, as well as the talented dancers and singers that brought the show to life.”

IAAPA Brass Ring Awards recognise excellence across the global attractions industry. They are presented to amusement parks, water parks, zoos, aquariums and museums in a range of categories. These include live entertainment, marketing and more.

RWS Entertainment Group is an Emmy Award-winning, New York-based live entertainment production company. It creates custom entertainment, live events and branded experiences for top resorts, cruise lines and theme parks.

The company boasts the largest facility of its kind in New York City. This is a 40,000 sq. ft. studio and office complex. It houses two large rehearsal studios, vocal rooms, wardrobe and casting departments along with an in-house design lab.

Expansion is continuing apace. In 2016, RWS acquired Broadway, film, television and commercial casting firm, Binder Casting. Earlier this year, RWS announced plans to drive business growth in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
