Scruffy Dog Creative Group (SDCG), a leading creative design and delivery company, is celebrating its success in the Middle East as it secures a significant new project for Six Flags, Qiddiya, and appoints a new project director for the MENA region.

Qiddiya is one of Saudi Arabia’s largest new urban developments and features the Six Flags theme park among its entertainment offerings. Under this contract, SDCG will deliver a number of thematic features, animatronic components, and flagship installations for the theme park.

The contract was awarded by Bouygues BĂ¢timent International (BBI) and Saudi Almabani General Contractors (AGC) and is worth more than $20 million. This is an extension of BBI and AGC’s joint venture in Saudi Arabia. BBI is a subsidiary of Bouygues Construction and is widely recognized as an industry leader with global reach. AGC is a renowned business in the construction industry and adds to the integrity and gravitas of this partnership.

“Scruffy Dog Creative Group is excited to utilise its outstanding creative fabrication and build capabilities to bring this project to life,” comments Malik Al Asadi, SDCG’s projects director. “With our unwavering passion, expertise, and commitment to pushing boundaries, the team is ready to exceed expectations.”

Joe Bright, CEO of SDCG, says: “It’s truly exciting that the group is able to continue our relationship with Qiddiya from design into delivery and be part of the Kingdom’s first major theme park and entertainment flagship. In addition, it’s a privilege to be working alongside two world-renowned companies.”

The complexity and scale of the project illustrate the Scruffy Dog Creative Group’s reputation as a major partner in the Middle East’s entertainment industry.

Scruffy Dog Creative Group has also recently appointed Reza Sadeghi as project director for the Middle East and North African (MENA) region.

Sadeghi manages projects across the region, guaranteeing timely and cost-effective completion that meets Scruffy Dog Creative Group’s rigorous quality expectations. His remit includes supply chain optimisation and business development, seeking out businesses that share the company’s purpose and could potentially benefit from its services.
