SeaWorld Orlando has released a virtual ride video of its latest roller coaster Ice Breaker, which is opening in spring 2021 after being delayed by COVID-19.
Ice Breaker was originally set to debut this year, but it was delayed due to COVID-19. The ride is now scheduled to open in spring 2021.
Ice Breaker is a family-friendly attraction, and the first launch coaster for SeaWorld Orlando. It will be located close to the Wild Arctic Attraction.

The coaster will feature four backwards and forwards launches, and ends with a reverse launch into Florida’s steepest beyond vertical drop.
The name ‘Ice Breaker’ is a nod to SeaWorld’s conservation partner, Alaska SeaLife Center, which is dedicated to marine research, education and wildlife response.
SeaWorld confirmed delays to Ice Breaker in August. It also revealed that three additional coasters set to launch this year will be delayed to 2021.
These rides are Iron Gwazi at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Pantheon at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and Emperor at SeaWorld San Diego.

“We felt this was going to be our best lineup of new attractions in our history,” said SeaWorld’s interim CEO Mark Swanson.
“And so many of those are now going to carry over the next year: Iron Gwazi, the coaster in Tampa; Icebreaker, the coaster here in Orlando: Pantheon in Williamsburg; Emperor coaster in San Diego.
“We feel really good about the 2021 lineup of rides coming to the parks, so we’re excited to continue to make progress towards that.”
Last month, Miral revealed that over 40 percent of construction is complete on SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, a collaboration with SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment on Yas Island.
