Semnox Solutions, provider of technology for the entertainment and amusement industry, has announced the successful installation of Semnox Parafait at Sparks Forest Adventure in Sukabumi, Indonesia.

Semnox is pleased to announce that it has added another attraction to its list of global clients. Sparks Forest Adventure is an amusement and recreation centre for all ages. It offers a wide range of activities, such as camping, adventure rides, wave pools, water slides and tree houses. The attraction provides fun for children and adults alike.

Semnox has now provided its Semnox Parafait module at all POS counters and access points across the site.

“On meeting with Semnox, we found that they specialize in this area and they have a good track record around the globe. Their Director, Kiran, has been quite accommodating which I think is extremely important especially in the service industry. We communicated with one of their clients and they gave a good recommendation and reference. Based on that, we chose Parafait,” says Felix Widjaja, the park’s owner.

No more long queues

Access to the park has been made simple with this new installation. Visitors can enjoy easy access with RFID wristbands and automated turnstiles, avoiding the build-up of long queues. The wristbands allow guests access to different areas of the park and its attractions, according to the package they have selected.

“Based on what we’ve been through so far, I’m very happy with Semnox. They have been helpful and very accommodating of all our needs. The process so far has been smooth. One of my concerns before was about communication because we need to communicate daily between Indonesia and India, particularly during the early days of the post-implementation period. However, time difference and location have proved to be a non-issue since they’ve been addressing all our enquiries promptly so far. I believe they’ve done really well and I would recommend their service to anyone,” adds Widjaja.

The handheld POS allows guests to load their tickets onto their wristbands on the spot – which are then easily verified by agents at each attractions entry point using handheld devices. The devices are perfect for outdoor use as they are waterproof.

“We have been able to conduct the successful implementation at Sparks Forest Adventure largely due to the wonderful rapport with owner Felix Widjaja and the team on the ground. This implementation leverages the complete Parafait portfolio – entry ticketing, F&B, Merchandise, mobile ticketing, RFID lockers etc. We are extremely happy that the implementation of such complex technology solution has gone smoothly.  Semnox is privileged to have been an integral part of Sparks’ foray into new technology,” says Kiran Karanki, Director of Semnox Solutions.

Cashless transactions

The attraction can now enjoy fully cashless transactions across the whole site, even in the food and beverage area. Guests will have peace of mind thanks to wireless, RFID operated lockers which keep valuables safe during their visit. Sparks Forest Adventure has also chosen to use the centralized reporting system, enabling the finance team to easily control operations.

Sparks Adventure Park has smoothly transitioned to our suite of Parafait solutions to enhance customer experience effectively. The Sparks team has been quite enthusiastic about embracing the new system,” says Vijayendra Achar, project manager at Semnox.

Semnox is also continuing to expand its operations in South America. It has just installed its Parafait system at six new sites in Ecuador, run by the Mundijuegos FEC group.
