The first ShowUp virtual trade show and convention for the FEC community will take place from 1 – 3 February 2021, featuring a packed schedule of educational sessions, expert insights, networking opportunities and more.
As the industry deals with the challenges presented by COVID-19, attendees at the event will be able to discover new revenue streams and models, as well as learning about the latest consumer trends and connecting with friends and colleagues.
In addition, there will be a virtual trade show, where FEC professionals will be able to connect with some of the most innovative companies around, who will be on hand to showcase the latest in entertainment attractions and services.
Social convention for FECs
During the three day event, participants will be immersed in interactive learning through a programme of hands-on workshops, roundtables, workshops, and reflection sessions.
The agenda features more than 60 specialists, innovators, and trailblazers from the global attractions industry. Some highlights include Brent Bushnell from Two Bit Circus; Joe Pine, author of the Experience Economy; Barbara Ford-Grant from Meow Wolf, Dan Pelson from AREA15 and many more.
Each of the three days deals with a relevant theme. Day one looks at new markets and revenue streams for FECs, day two explores emerging technology and esports and day three delves into delivering transformational experiences to the future consumer.
The event is offering a ‘pay what you can’ payment scheme. More information and tickets are available here.
Last year, ShowUp hosted a unique virtual social event for amusement operators, providing them with a free opportunity to meet friends and make connections, while having some fun and celebrating the end of a challenging year.
