ShowUp, the social platform for the amusement trade founded by location-based entertainment expert Bob Cooney, is holding a virtual FEC convention from 1 – 3 February 2021.

The first ShowUp virtual trade show and convention for the FEC community will take place from 1 – 3 February 2021, featuring a packed schedule of educational sessions, expert insights, networking opportunities and more.

As the industry deals with the challenges presented by COVID-19, attendees at the event will be able to discover new revenue streams and models, as well as learning about the latest consumer trends and connecting with friends and colleagues.

In addition, there will be a virtual trade show, where FEC professionals will be able to connect with some of the most innovative companies around, who will be on hand to showcase the latest in entertainment attractions and services.

Last year, ShowUp hosted a unique virtual social event for amusement operators, providing them with a free opportunity to meet friends and make connections, while having some fun and celebrating the end of a challenging year.

Cooney also spoke to Blooloop in 2020 about the coronavirus crisis and what it means for the future of location-based VR.
