Six Flags launches new mobile food ordering system via app

Guests using the Six Flags mobile ordering app

The Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is launching a new food ordering system through the Six Flags mobile app.

The new system will allow guests at Six Flags theme parks across America to order food contact-free as part of the social distancing rules in the parks.

75% of dining locations offer mobile ordering

Bonnie Sherman Weber, Senior Vice President of In-Park Services said that “social distancing is a key component of our operations. By utilizing Mobile Food Ordering, guests will spend significantly less time in food lines and more time enjoying their visit. More than 75% of our dining locations now offer this option, with more being added daily.”

Weber continued saying that “we are thrilled to offer our guests the convenience of ordering their favourite theme park foods right from the palm of their hands.”

Track your food order from the app

Guests simply need to download the Six Flag App. Then guests choose ‘Mobile Ordering’ at restaurants that offer this option. Guests are able to choose and customise their food selections, and they pay electronically.

Once their order is confirmed, guests are able to track the food order and will receive instructions to pick up their food at the restaurant when it is ready.

Discounts are automatically applied

All membership discounts are automatically applied at checkout, and season dining pass offers are still available through the app.

Six Flags is currently offering discounts on its season passes and memberships.

Six Flags theme parks are reopening across the US with extensive safety measures in place. An online reservation system staggers arrival times and helps to avoid overcrowding. Thermal imaging and contactless security screening will take place at the park entry.

This new mobile ordering app will help the theme parks decrease contact between its staff and visitors, an important part of its social distancing safety measures.
