A ground-breaking new looping coaster where two sets of riders come face to face will make its debut at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom next year.
The Skywarp is being rebranded at the park as the HARLEY QUINN Crazy Coaster.
The deal was sealed by Ride Entertainment, sales partner of Skywarp developer, Skyline Attractions.
Blooloop first revealed the sale in July and this new announcement comes earlier than expected. Ride originally proposed to reveal the location at the IAAPA Attractions Expo in November.
Skywarp was first unveiled at IAAPA last year. The one-of-a-kind experience puts 32 passengers in two opposing ride vehicles. Each train rocks back and forth, building up to full speed before completing several heart-pounding forward and reverse rotations through the twin Immelmann inversions. The unique configuration allows the two trains to duel one another so that riders can see the fear and fun in the faces of the opposing thrill-seekers.

“Six Flags continues to look for innovation in the theme park industry and we are very happy they chose Skywarp as part of their 2018 plans. They are a great partner and are always pushing the thrill ride envelope. We feel that this ride will be a great addition to the collection of thrills found at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.”

Interested parties can learn more about the ride ahead of its Six Flags debut at booth 5808 at the 2017 IAAPA Attractions Expo in November.
