SPREE Interactive, a provider of active free-roam VR experiences, will be hosting a special webinar on the evolution of the bumper car attraction.

SPREE Interactive is pleased to announce that it will be presenting a webinar exploring the evolution of one of the best-loved visitor attractions – the bumper car. This visitor favourite has been around since 1926 and has now seen a big upgrade, thanks to SPREE Interactive’s new Virtual Reality (VR) bumper car experience.

There are two webinar sessions available on Tuesday 8 September, one at 11 am CET and one at 5 pm CET.

This free webinar is presented in partnership with leading Bumper Car manufacturer I.E. Park and will explore the evolution of the bumper car, from its history to present-day innovations such as smart panels and VR.

SPREE Interactive has worked with VR Coaster and I.E. Park to create a turnkey VR bumper car attraction, which it showcased at IAAPA Expo in Orlando last November.

VR Coaster‘s high-end gaming content and reliable hardware combined with SPREE’s multiplayer VR expertise has led to the creation of a brand new bumper car experience. So far, the Steampunk VR Scooter VR bumper cars have proved popular with guests at Erlebnispark Schloss Thurn theme park in Nuremberg, Germany.

To sign up for a place on the webinar, please register by email.

Last month, SPREE Interactive announced that it has partnered with broadcaster ProSibenSat.1, VFX studio Pixomondo and the Forum Schwanthalerhohe retail mall in Munich, Germany, for the global launch of the Mission to Mars educational VR experience.

This VR edutainment experience is a 15 minute adventure that can be enjoyed by up to 10 players. It features an educational narrative from ProSieben’s popular science TV show, Galileo, as well as game production by Pixomondo. It is only available on the location-based multiplayer free-roam SPREE Arena system.
