Swedice, a leader in all-year seasonal attractions, has announced that it has joined forces with Kinetic Creative to form the Swedice Group.
Swedice is pleased to announce that Kinetic Creative, a previous collaborator, will now be part of the Swedice family, under the new name of Swedice Group. This will enable Swedice projects to be guided from concept to production, in a total design solution.
Swedice has two decades of experience in customised projects with ice and snow technology and also supplies the Neveplast product portfolio which means it can provide products all year round, for every season.
A new partnership
While the two companies have previously collaborated together on projects such as ICE Amsterdam and Winter Efteling, this new arrangement will allow them to provide a complete solution together, thus improving the client experience. The companies will be able to work both collaboratively and independently.
“Kinetic Creative guides and advises clients into the areas of concept development, design, production and project coordination,” says Mark van Rooij, Co-Founder, Creative Development, Kinetic Creative. “We aim for total play concepts that are a unique fit for their location and let both physical as emotional elements blend.”
“Swedice is synonymous with ‘Ride, Slide & Glide!’ We design and develop all kinds of innovative, technical applications in order to offer spectacular winter sports solutions around the world. Focusing on winter fun for the end-user is central to our philosophy,” adds Dick Keser, Managing Director of Swedice
Current projects
Swedice Group is now working on a series of projects around Europe. This includes Monte Mare Kreuzau in Germany, which is currently under construction and set to open at the end of 2019. For this water playground, in cooperation with Watergames & More and Waterplay Corp., the group has been working on the concept, schematic design, design and development of the project.
Another project underway is Winter Efteling, a new ice rink development, where Swedice Group is providing a new ice rink innovation based on aluminium system ICEFLOO. It is also working on the design and development of the indoor and outdoor rink layout and will be providing installation and maintenance services.
Swedice Group will also be working on ICE Amsterdam once again, where the concept and design is by Kinetic Creative and the ice rink solution, production, installation and maintenance services will be provided by Swedice.
Finally, Swedice and Neveplast worked on the ski track solution for Copenhill, Copenhagen’s waste to energy power plant project. Together with BIG Architects, the two companies provided a workable solution to instal the ski slope on top of the hot roof structure.
Earlier this year, Swedice announced the installation of the longest parabolic Tubby slide in the UK, at Heatherton World of Activities in Wales.
