Snow Abu Dhabi launches just six months after Snow Oman

Majid Al Futtaim has announced the opening of Abu Dhabi‘s latest attraction, an indoor snow park at Reem Mall.

Snow Abu Dhabi is the fourth indoor snow park from Majid Al Futtaim, and has launched just six months after the opening of Snow Oman.

“Abu Dhabi is fast becoming a global destination for family entertainment and leisure, and we are excited to introduce a new experience unlike anything else the capital has to offer,” said Ignace Lahoud, CEO of entertainment at Majid Al Futtaim.

The debut of Snow Abu Dhabi represents the company’s “commitment to bring innovative and immersive experiences to families across the MENA region”, Lahoud added.

Located in Reem Mall, Snow Abu Dhabi covers an area of 9,732 square metres. The new venue features more than 20 rides and attractions.

These include the Crystal Carousel, Polar Express Train, Snowflake Garden and Enchanted Tree. Visitors will also enjoy three F&B outlets surrounded by real snow.

“With the introduction of Snow Abu Dhabi, our visitors will have the opportunity to escape into a magical winter wonderland, complete with thrilling activities and enchanting surroundings,” said Bruce von Kaufmann, Reem Mall’s director.

Back in 2005, Majid Al Futtaim opened Ski Dubai in Mall of the Emirates. This was joined in 2017 by Sky Egypt in Mall of Egypt, and in 2022 by Snow Oman in Mall of Oman. These are part of the group’s Global Snow brand.
