Syx Automations, a leading provider of leisure management solutions, is transforming operations at DierenPark Amersfoort (Amersfoort Zoo).
The company’s ReCreateX solution will fully automate ticket sales, retail, catering and parking at the popular venue in the Netherlands.
Founded in 1948, Amersfoort Zoo is home to 1, 500 animals and occupies around over 19 hectares. The attraction is still a family business and welcomes 800, 000 visitors a year.
The large scale implementation will include a variety of integrated ReCreateX-modules. POS, membership and inventory management will ensure fast and efficient handling of ticket sales and stock records.
What’s more, visitors will be able to purchase tickets and season passes online via the ReCreatex web shop.
Catering will be handled by the company’s mPos-application. mPos was developed specifically as a smart and simple check-out system for the hospitality industry. The app can be downloaded on any smartphone or tablet. Staff carry a fully and complete POS system with a POS device. They can also accept payment via an easily attainable terminal.
Syx Automations is also installing 28 check-out points, a self-service kiosk and new barriers, plus a ticket reader for access to the car park.
