State-of-the-art debit card and revenue management system, Embed, is to be rolled out across 50 TEEG (The Entertainment and Education Group) locations in Asia Pacific.
TEEG owns more than 280 Family Entertainment Centres (FECs) in 7 countries across the region.
The decision to press ahead with the Embed implementation was prompted by TEEG’s recent acquisition of Ardent Leisure’s Bowling and Entertainment division (BCA network) comprising AMF Bowling, King Pin and Playtime brands. The Group wanted to streamline its operations with a centralised technology solution.
By using one system across all brands, TEEG customers will be able to access all brands seamlessly with one card.
“We are looking forward to one common system which will allow us to gain internal efficiencies and effectively utilise the valuable data Embed provides to improve the customer experience,” explained John Boyd, Group CIO, TEEG.
Centralised solution keeps FECs ahead of the curve
Luke McKimmie, COO of Embed, added, “This is an exciting direction for both TEEG and Embed. The alignment between each group is perfectly timed for Embed to introduce its latest technologies of our universal games database and centralised games management, along with the Toolkit infrastructure we are deploying. This is a great opportunity to illustrate the advantages of using Embed over a large estate and a privilege to work closely with the TEEG team to leverage these solutions and develop ongoing value for their customers.”
This sizeable rollout reflects the Group’s eagerness for new technology solutions that will help to keep it ahead of the curve. With customers demanding a more integrated and convenient experience, Embed is a trusted leader in the FEC and Amusement sector. The company continues to apply its depth of industry experience to create innovative tools that allow businesses to streamline internal processes, enhance customer service offerings and recognise increased revenue opportunities.
Embed is a subsidiary of out-of-home entertainment leader, Helix Leisure.
