Visitors to Madame Tussauds Tokyo can now enjoy a better looking – and sounding – Michael Jackson exhibit.

The wax figure of the “king of pop” is now animated with powerful, crystal-clear sound, an octagonal LED screen and many lighting effects.

Audiovisual expertise in the refurbished exhibit area was provided by the French company Tejix, via its Japanese office. The Madame Tussauds team requested that the installation should take place at night, so that the attraction’s daily operations would not be disturbed.

Tejix designed an efficient system built around premium components that operates without the need for human intervention. Its team worked for five nights to set up the equipment, align the audio system and programme the lights.

Now Madame Tussauds Tokyo guests can enjoy a fresher Michael Jackson exhibit, accompanied by some of his favourite tunes, sounding sharper than ever.
