Thinkwell Group, the global experience design and production company, has released its 5th Annual Guest Experience Trend Report.

Thinkwell Group is pleased to announce the release of its 5th Annual Guest Experience Trend Report. This looks into guest motivations, success factors and must-haves in the field of fan conventions, festivals and events.

Findings include the fact that 46% of fans surveyed would be willing to spend up to $1,000 for a fan experience. Also, 71% of fans said that they would travel up to 500 miles for a fan activation, experience, or event.

Reaching targeted groups

Fan events allow die-hard fans a chance to meet with likeminded people and share their love of particular series and cult-favourite brands. And it is a growing market, with experiences such as Comic Con, Pokémon GoFest and the Harry Potter Wizard’s Unite Festival drawing more visitors each year. Studios, IP holders and other parties are making the most of the opportunity to reach fans through the organisation of experiential events around the world.
