Tokyo Disneyland has announced the lineup of events for “Tokyo Disney Resort 35th ‘Happiest Celebration!’” – taking place from April 15, 2018 through March 25, 2019.
The celebration marks the 35th Anniversary of the Grand Opening of Tokyo Disneyland ® Park.
“Dreaming Up!,” a brand new daytime parade, will premier at the park for the celebrations. The iconic “it’s a small world” attraction will also reopen after being temporarily closed for extensive enhancements.
In summer, “Celebrate! Tokyo Disneyland” will premiere. It is a new nighttime spectacular at Cinderella Castle which will feature brand new effects. A theme song created just for the 35th Anniversary will be used in various programs.
There will be special merchandise and special menu items for the 35th anniversary. There will also be a special shop opening at Tokyo Disneyland for a limited time only.
The Grand Finale of the event will take place on March 25, 2019. It will immerse Guests at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea into a unique event – with special merchandise for the grand finale – in an ambience celebrating all the happy feelings generated over the anniversary year.
Tokyo Disneyland Park first opened on April 15, 1983.
