Toverland extends opening hours and adds events for 2020

Toverland has revealed longer opening times and more events for 2020. The theme park in the Netherlands has extended seasonal and normal opening hours, and is putting on more events than ever in 2020.

Next year, the opening times of Toverland will be extended, with the theme park remaining open until at least 6pm, and until 8pm during the summer holiday.

In 2020, there will also be more events than ever, with 12 ‘Midsummer Evenings’ and 14 ‘Halloween Nights’.

Toverland remains open until 11pm during evening events. The attraction is putting on eight more events in 2020 than 2019.

According to a press release, the summer season will also have an extra early start, and Toverland will be open for weekends in November and December and during school holidays for Christmas.

“We can create more magical moments of happiness by allowing our guests more time to visit us,” said Toverland general director Jean Gelissen Jr.

“Events that give an extra dimension to our guest’s overall experience. We want the ability to offer yet more guests the opportunity to come and experience this for themselves.”

The whole theme park, including the four outdoor areas, will also be open during the spring holiday and weekends leading up to the start of the summer season on March 28.

Normal opening times for the summer season are 10am to 6pm. During the summer holiday from July 11 to August 30, opening hours will be extended to 8pm.

In the winter season, which runs from November 9 to December 18, Toverland’s two indoor themed areas will open at weekends from 11am to 6pm.

Toverland’s events in 2020 will include the second edition of YOUTUBERSxTOVERLAND on May 17 and ‘Midsummer Evenings’ on Wednesdays and Saturdays from July 15 to August 22.

There will be 19 ‘Halloween Days’ and 14 ‘Halloween Nights’ from October 9 until November 8. ‘Magical Winter Weeks’ will run from December 19 until January 3.
