Triotech, the award-winning creator of media-based attractions, has provided technical support for Singapore Discovery Centre’s latest films.
Triotech is pleased to announce that it has worked closely with Singapore Discovery Centre (SDC) on two exclusive custom XD films. SDC is a popular education and entertainment centre located in Upper Jurong Road, Singapore, and has been home to a Triotech XD Theatre since 2008.
For this new project, Triotech adapted and remote-programmed the content from its Montreal studio, integrating motion, sound and special effects into the films.
Customised content
“Working closely with our client at Singapore Discovery Centre and adapting the customised contents for the XD Theater was a real pleasure,” says Ernest Yale, CEO of Triotech. “Our Montreal studio and our technical team are set up to work remotely to support our clients in all of their needs. We’re happy with the results and we are glad to have helped to create a fantastic visitor experience for SDC.”
“Our 4D Simulator Ride is one of our popular attractions, and we are thrilled to offer our visitors an immersive and multisensory experience with breathtaking twists, turns, and explosive XD effects,” says Yap Chee Wee, Director, Business Development & Marketing of Singapore Discovery Centre.
Visitors have been enjoying the Singapore Discovery Centre since 1996 and can now experience the two exciting new films.
Earlier this month, Triotech also shared some early recovery results, as visitor attractions begin to reopen in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. These early results are encouraging as they show that customer confidence is starting to return, as FECs and parks being to open their doors to the public once again.
As attractions begin to recover from the period of closure, gathering feedback from operators is key, as it helps the industry to gain valuable insights into guest confidence and behaviour.
