SEA LIFE Trust is wishing families a whaley good Christmas and asking for help to support Little Grey and Little White, who recently travelled to the Beluga Whale Sanctuary.

Little Grey and Little White are a pair of beautiful beluga whales who have been rehomed in an open water sanctuary at Klettsvik Bay off the south coast of Iceland.

SEA LIFE Trust recently announced that Little Grey and Little White had taken their first swim in the beluga whale sanctuary, after arriving safely in August.

To help the expert care team look after the whales, SEA LIFE trust is encouraging families to support its efforts by purchasing plush toys and adoption packs for Christmas.

The beluga whale plush toy comes in two sizes, and prices start from £15. They come in small (38cm) and large (48cm), and are filled with 100 percent recycled water bottles. All proceeds from the purchase of the toys goes towards the care for the belugas.

In addition, families can adopt Little Grey or Little White for £40. The adoption packs include a personalised adoption certificate and beluga pin badge.

They also include a photo of the adopted whale, facts about belugas, information about the SEA LIFE Trust beluga whale sanctuary, a poster of the belugas’ journey, a postcard and SEA LIFE Trust information leaflet, and a newsletter to keep up to date with Little White and Little Grey.

Beluga Whale Sanctuary operated by SEA LIFE Trust

Beluga Whale Sanctuary is operated by the SEA LIFE Trust and is the first of its kind. The facility was created with the support of a donation from Merlin Entertainments.

Earlier this year, SEA LIFE Trust unveiled the Cornish Seal Sanctuary’s new campaign to protect seal pups this winter season, known as ‘Put Pups First’.
