Vortex and Center Parcs Create Hit Water Attraction at Bois aux Daimes Resort

News

Innovative aquatic play company, Vortex, has created a new water world (Aqua Mundo) at Center Parcs’ Bois aux Daimes resort in Morton, France.

This is the Canadian company’s second collaborative project with Center Parcs.

Bois aux Daimes is themed on the natural world and Vortex were required to mirror this in their new installation.

The result is a double Water Tree comprising a multi-level, forest-themed Elevation™ featuring flowers, bamboo, water wheels and slides.

Further attractions include an interactive, zero-depth Vortex Splashpad® with iconic spider structure and water cannons as well as a shallow pool for younger children with smaller dumping features, two baby slides and Poolplay™ elements.

Vortex and Center Parks previously worked together to create a series of interactive water features for the Bostalsee resort in Saarland, Germany.

The new attraction at Bois aux Daimes has proved so popular with guests that Center Parcs has already commissioned a third project for 2016.
