Royal Caribbean International’s Perfect Day waterpark in the Bahamas will feature a range of climbable aquatic play structures from Vortex International.
Scheduled for completion in late 2019, Perfect Day is part of Royal Caribbean’s CocoCay development. The private island aims to complement the cruise experience on land with the same level of excellence as Royal Caribbean is known for on its ships.
Vortex will be installing Elevations structures as part of the expansive Perfect Day waterpark. Each multi-level structure will offer multiple water features and effects, encouraging action-packed physical, social and interactive play. The various elements appeal to children of different ages, so the entire family can have fun together.
“It’s about creating a unique destination experience for every guest,” says Vortex International president, Stephen Hamelin. “Both Vortex and Royal Caribbean are committed to creating memorable and magical moments for families.”
Vortex International has worked with Royal Caribbean International on several previous occasions. Its aquatic structures for children can be found on board the recently introduced Symphony of the Seas in addition to the Majesty of the Seas, Liberty of the Seas, Empress of the Seas, Independence of the Seas, Ovation of the Seas, Adventure of the Seas and – as pictured below – Harmony of the Seas cruise ships.
