Emaar Entertainment, the leisure and entertainment subsidiary of Emaar Properties, has opened VR Park, a brand new virtual and augmented reality attraction in The Dubai Mall.
The futuristic VR Park offers a wide range of VR and AR games, rides and experiential attractions, as well as a roller coaster experience.
Dubbed a ‘first-of-its-kind-attraction in the Middle East’, Emaar’s latest retailtainment destination aims to ‘challenge reality’ with a mix of immersive rides, interactive games and educational journeys.
Blockbuster IPs include The Walking Dead and John Wick Chronicles
The new park spans two levels of the mall. Many of the attractions offer a multi-player experience, enabling visitors to interact and enjoy the experience with family and friends. With a wide audience in mind, the attractions represent a broad range of genres including adrenalin-fuelled experiences, horror, fantasy and more.
Well-known IPs include The Walking Dead and the John Wick Chronicles. ARena is a family attraction that uses augmented reality to bring photo-realistic characters into the real world. Sports enthusiasts can try their hand at virtual boxing, hockey, football, golf and more.
A skydive experience, Plummet, gives participants the adrenaline rush of jumping from a plane while taking in the sights of Dubai far below them. Even the very young are catered for with a VR carousel aimed at children aged 3 and over. And, when they’re not busy gaming, guests can relax in the PVRK Café.

VR Park is the latest in Emaar Entertainment’s growing portfolio of entertainment destinations across the Dubai Mall and Dubai Marina Mall. Other major attractions include Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, Dubai Ice Rink and KidZania®. The company also operates the Reel Cinemas megaplex.
