Water Park of America Chooses The Locker Network

News

Leading manufacturer and supplier of key-less electronic locker systems, The Locker System, has completed an installation of 303 lockers in The Water Park of America, Minnesota.

The Water Park of America is home to the tallest water slide in the US, and at 70, 000 sq feet contains over 24 thrilling rides and upcoming 4D theatre to entertain the whole family.

“It’s an exciting time for The Locker Network and I’m delighted that we could offer a customized locker solution at the Water Park of America.” said Marshall Ashdown, Senior Vice President of The Locker Network.

The seven locker banks containing the key-less electronic lockers are spread throughout the parks, with a mix of small and large lockers with rental fees of $10 & $15 respectively.

“Installing these lockers eliminates the need for park staff to take key deposits, replace lost keys, and repair broken locks. This total hands-off locker solution allows us to focus on our core business without distraction.” said Steve Pastor, General Manager of Water Park of America.

Lieberman Companies will operate the lockers at the Water Park of America on a revenue share contract. The lockers were installed as an add-on to the game room, which uses the Embed cashless system (also part of Helix Leisure).

“We have a long standing relationship with Helix Leisure through our dealings with Embed – they’re very professional and a pleasure to work with. Lockers are a new venture for us and we look forward to expanding this side of our business with The Locker Network.” said Dan Lieberman, Vice President of Lieberman Companies.
