Web Design Company Is Bringing Fun Online

News

When wddonline was first contacted to create a website for the Cedar Point amusement park of Sandusky, Ohio, the small, family-owned company never imagined that within only a few years of operation they would be the world leader in amusement park and attraction web design.

Ohio based and family owned, wddonline has been creating websites for over ten years.  Since their beginnings with Cedar Point, the ever-expanding workforce of wddonline has designed and maintained websites in the United States and internationally for companies like King’s Island, Knott’s Berry Farm, Canada’s Wonderland, Santa’s Village, and numerous other parks and family entertainment centers of all sizes. To view an extensive portfolio of the company’s work, visit www.wddonline.com.

Until now, wddonline’s success has been driven largely by customer word-of-mouth and an exemplary reputation, but on November 15th the company is taking the show on the road, exhibiting at the IAAPA Expo in Orlando, Florida, November 16th to 19th.  IAAPA is the world’s largest amusement park show and annually draws over 25, 000 amusement industry owners, operators, and managers.  Attendees can purchase anything from popcorn machines to roller coasters…and hopefully a few websites too.

According to Katie Bruno, wddonline’s Owner and Director, "We have attended the Expo for years as advisors to the industry, primarily through seminars where we would teach the smaller parks, attractions, and family entertainment centers how to effectively market their businesses on a budget they can afford. This year, we will have a large booth at the IAAPA Expo offering free, daily web marketing seminars and showcasing our newest ‘Bringing Fun Online’ program to help the smaller parks and attractions create a professional web presence.”

One of wddonline’s local clients is Swings-N-Things Family Fun Park in Olmsted Falls, Ohio.  "We wanted a Cedar Point style website on a smaller park budget. What we got was a terrific site and increased social media penetration.  Katie and her terrific crew helped us to avoid making costly mistakes, " said Tim Sorge, Owner Swings-N-Things.
