WhiteWater, a leading waterpark manufacturer, will extend its presence in Europe with the creation of a new headquarters in Munich.
WhiteWater has announced that it will be extending its presence in Europe, Russia and Africa (ERA) by opening a new European headquarters in Munich, Germany. This will help the company to implement a new strategy of locals for locals and will be overseen by industry veteran Rainer Maelzer, President of WhiteWater ERA.
The newly expanded team in Munich will include business development managers, designers, slide path engineers, project managers, site supervisors and after-sales specialists. This new European headquarters is ideally located for the European, Russian and African markets and will help the company continue to bring its decades of experience to these regions.
Local service
WhiteWater aims to lead the market with the most comprehensive product portfolio in the industry, creative product combinations, and unique service provided by a local team.
“WhiteWater offers both the portfolio and know-how of a world market and the experience of a European player,” says Maelzer. “The opening of WhiteWater’s new office in Munich is a great demonstration to our dedication to the region; we wanted to have a local European full-service company to underpin our corporate strategy of supporting locals for local.”
This is not the company’s only presence in Europe, and Executive Vice President Grant Poje will continue to oversee the company’s office in Barcelona. The Munich office will be the sixth global location for the multi-lingual WhiteWater team.
WhiteWater is looking forward to working on more opportunities in the region, and will soon break ground on the first Endless Surf pool in Paris. The company also recently commenced work on a new project called Jungle Bay at Mina Seyahi, Dubai. This waterpark is inspired by the Cyclades and will be home to rides and attractions for all ages.
