Leading creator of waterparks products and attractions, WhiteWater, has received a British Columbia Export Award in recognition of its strong international sales.
The Canadian company is one of British Columbia’s largest exporters with over 650 members of staff in 20 locations worldwide.
Last week, Geoff Chutter, President & CEO of WhiteWater was recognised with the Leadership Award for commitment to the export market.
Both awards were accepted by Mike Heaven, WhiteWater COO, (above right) as Chutter was attending the IAAPA Expo in Orlando.
“We are very proud of both of these awards recognizing our export leadership, ” commented Heaven. “They celebrate the talents of the diverse team we’ve built and our outward looking culture which helps us embrace new opportunities wherever they are located.”
Chutter praised the high caliber of talent and expertise in British Columbia which had led to WhiteWater’s success globally.
He added, “Globalisation is not simply selling our products overseas, rather it is making a commitment to the local overseas markets in terms of establishing engineers, project managers and sales support locally.”
