Zero Latency launch new game Scarygirl Mission Maybee

Leaders in multi-player virtual reality entertainment, Zero Latency, are adding a new game to its arena scale, free-roam VR venues around the world.

Scarygirl Mission Maybee is the first third-party content for the platform, developed by Toronto-based VR/AR developer Dark Slope.

The game is based on the cult graphic novel and designer toy brand Scarygirl created by artist Nathan Jurevicius. Up to eight players have to work together to save the world from Dr. Maybee, destroying infectious hazardous goo from his scientific experiments and shoot a purified antidote at infected creatures.

Ontario Creates and the Canada Media Fund supported the development of the new game.

To date, Zero Latency has 29 VR free-roaming venues in 18 countries around the world. The company recently launched its second-generation platform, developed with Microsoft, HP and Intel.
