Triotech to exhibit at LeisurUp by MAPIC in Cannes

Company will showcase Hyper Ride concept, with first dark ride of its type secured in North America

Triotech, an award-winning creator of media-based attractions, has announced it will be in Cannes, Southern France for a new leisure destination event this week.

The simulator company will be at the first LeisurUP by MAPIC event, from 30 November to 2 December.

Award-winning start

With decades of experience in providing entertainment for shopping centres and complexes, Triotech provides turnkey solutions for the growing trend of retailtainment. The company’s reputation as a trusted manufacturer is backed up by a worldwide portfolio of projects and several industry awards.

Triotech recently bolstered its accolades with the IAAPA Brass Ring Award for Best New Product in the “Major Ride/Attraction” category. The firm received the prize at IAAPA Expo 2021 in Orlando for its new ride launch, the new interactive attraction Hyper Ride. Triotech says it is looking forward to presenting the new attraction to retail property owners and developers.

Triotech LeisurUp MAPIC 2021

Hyper Ride is a guest experience that can fit within a smaller space than conventional dark rides, including a new attraction to be installed at Niagara Falls, Canada. Designed to be budget-friendly, the attraction can be utilised in Family Entertainment Centers (FECs), shopping malls and other locations that cannot afford large-scale attractions found in amusement and theme parks.

Deborah Attal, Theme Parks Europe managing director says “There is a strong global trend for shopping centers to develop an entertainment offering. Triotech has several attractions that are tailored to this market and bonify the guest experience for visitors to these malls”.

Triotech will be rolling out the same content strategy with Hyper Ride that has been seen
success with its theatre products, developing titles that will create a full media library of content for Hyper Ride operators to choose from. Triotech believes that this feature will “contribute to a strong return on investment for the operators that invest in this innovative attraction”.

Triotech will be presenting Hyper Ride alongside other popular products at LeisurUp by MAPIC this week, in Booth R7-B7.

Earlier this month BoldMove Nation celebrated its new Triotech collaboration, an interactive dark ride with rotating vehicles which saw increased interest at IAAPA Expo Europe.
