Creative technology speakers
Mark Stutzman serves as chief technology officer (CTO) at AREA15. He is charged with establishing and implementing AREA15’s technical vision and infrastructure to bring the immersive entertainment and retail complex to life. Working collaboratively and cross-functionally with development and construction, design, marketing, production and operation, he’s tasked with building the technology infrastructure that will enhance the visitor experience at AREA15.
Stutzman has over 20 years of experience as a digital strategist and product specialist. He has worked in a variety of roles at primarily high-technology startups, such as Digital Variant, Wylei, PointOne and more. He started his career at IBM where he was responsible for building ShopIMB, the company’s first direct sales and online commerce site.

Chad Kunimoto is global business development manager for LBE and Immersive UX at Panasonic Connect, a leading audiovisual technology provider. She has over 15 years of global marketing and business development experience, especially with professional audio-visual technology for the themed entertainment industry.
With her expertise and insights into trends in this immersive entertainment area, some of her experiences include working together with key partners to create memorable new experiences for guests around the world through Panasonic’s cutting-edge technologies.
Thomas Hale is VP of Creative at Spatial, an immersive audio technology company. Hale joined Spatial in 2017. Before that, he co-founded a handful of startups and has overseen multiple business divisions. He also has extensive filmmaking expertise, including six years as the founder of a digital agency in Brazil.
Spatial entered The Spatial Holodeck into the Innovation Awards this year. In March 2022, The Spatial Holodeck debuted in The Sunset Room in Austin, Texas. This pop-up experience showcased Spatials 3D immersive audio technology to the wider public for the first time. Visitors experienced a more realistic and immersive soundscape in the pop-up.
