Digital Projection Projector

The company will showcase mapping and collaboration tools in Spain

Digital Projection, a specialist in laser projectors, has announced its return to one of Europe’s leading trade shows this week.

The technology firm will display some of its top products including its native 4K INSIGHT, TITAN and HIGHlite Satellite Modular Laser System (MLS). The world’s first and only 8K DLP projector, Digital Projection’s Gen II laser phosphor illuminated INSIGHT Laser 8K, will also be showcased.

Digital Projection’s Satellite MLS technology gives integrators more flexibility by separating the light source from the lightweight projector head, providing an ideal product in restricted access scenarios. The result is a solution that provides high-end RGB laser illumination at an accessible price point.

Exploring different perspectives

The Satellite MLS, developed around WUXGA, 4K and 8K resolutions, also incorporates ‘MultiView’ technology, capable of delivering immersive, and interactive 3D experiences.

Through a single projector, MultiView produces ultra-fast frame rates and can accommodate numerous viewers. Each person is tracked and receives a view appropriate to their viewing angle, encouraging shared collaborative experiences.

This technology is suitable for an array of visualisation applications including attractions at amusement parks and museum installations. The firm gives a virtual tour of a long-gone building or a lifelike experience of an invaluable object as two exhibits that are possible with MultiView technology, with guests being able to discover history from their own perspective.

Bright ideas

Whilst Digital Projection is known for its ultra-high brightness projectors, other products will be on display which utilises the firm’s single-chip projector platforms. Its ultra-bright, 23,000 lumens one-chip DLP M-Vision 23000 projector will be showcased as a solution for large venues with mapping applications.

Saturated colours are produced from the embedded ColorBoost + Red Laser technology, which Digital Projection says it offers at a one-chip DLP price point as a competitive alternative to other three-chip DLP offerings.

Digital Projection will be at ISE’s Hall 3 on Stand #3K900. Tickets are available to reserve online.

Earlier this year, Digital Projection announced its products are being utilised at Jhansi Fort for a historical retelling of local heroine Lakshmi Bai.
