New IP-based attraction allows guests to experience the thrill of driving one of the most famous monster trucks in the world

DOF Robotics, a producer of dynamic simulation platforms, and Feld Entertainment have announced the launch of a brand new dynamic monster truck VR simulator, based on the popular Monster Jam Grave Digger vehicle.

“For the first time ever, now your customers can experience the thrill of driving one of the most famous monster trucks in the world—Grave Digger! The simulator offers a range of movement on a 6-axis platform featuring pitch, roll and yaw movements,” says a statement from DOF Robotic.

“The realistic motion combined with exciting video delivered through VR headsets coupled with strong wind effects make this an unforgettable ride.”

Dynamic new stand-alone attraction

This new stand-alone attraction is a good choice for a wide range of venues, from FECs and shopping centres to theme parks and amusement parks.

Monster Jam is a global leader in monster truck motorsports, hosting full-throttle family fun in the form of Freestyle, Skills and Racing competitions, enjoyed by fans all across the globe. The iconic Grave Digger monster truck celebrates 40 years as “the black and green wrecking machine” next year.

This summer, DOF Robotics also announced that it has reached a milestone with 100% of its team having been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Now, every person in the entire organisation has received two doses of the vaccine. Every employee of DOF Robotics has had two Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccinations, which will help protect the whole team from the virus and promote a safe working environment.

The company has also recently announced a new partnership with AMC Global. AMC Global will be DOF Robotics’ distributor for South Africa, helping it to increase its presence in the country. It will distribute the company’s products, like the award-winning Hurricane 360 VR and the immersive Flying Theatre.
